I've been a thinker from an early age. At 9 yrs. I asked my parents, "what would there be is there wasn't anything?"
I will be 62 on Sep. 10. I hold a B.S. degree in Psychology. I have read nearly everything that Alan Watts wrote.
To give you an idea about my thinking: I don't believe the individual personality persists beyond death. I think personality is a process, not an entity.
I just made $719 this week working from home for google. I cant believe how easy this is. Im recommending this to everyone, check out this guys google blog makemoneywith-google.com

Hi Bill,
thanks for explaining. I have never been to Buggiano, I’d love to see pictures.
I was asking about your interest in Buddhism because I am philosophically very close to it. I have studied it both in books and through the local Tibetan Mahayana Buddhist center, and although I do not follow any particular rituals, its principles influence my outlook and interactions.
There are some nice talks of Alan Watts on YouTube, and it was great for me to finally see the man after all these years! I had pictured a bald and stern white version of a Japanese zen master and luckily he is not at all that way...
I realize spiritual activist sounds awfully vague, like my artistic activities. I am afraid it's one of those trendy terms that can mean just about anything... it's a bit more complicated to actually explain what I am trying to do. It's a rather long story, but if you insist in asking me to expand, I'll take the liberty… just let me know.
Bye for now, gotta go! (three teenage daughters waiting for dinner)
Hi Bill,
no, I haven't read the book yet, just discovered the videos and was intrigued enough to sign up for this community. I would say I am a "jack of all trades, master of none", since I have dabbled and worked for many years in different creative endeavors, from calligraphy to illustration, to graphic design to painting and writing, to photography and collages to digital art... when I have a little time I will post some of my works on my page. Where in Tuscany is your brother-in-law's home? I live in the outskirts of Florence in a not quite urban - almost countryside area, quite beautiful, really.
Yes, I know and appreciate Alan Watts, he was my first introduction to zen almost thirty years ago... why you ask? Are you interested in Buddhism?
Hi Bill,
Love your cat.
At the moment I'm teaching in a couple of small colleges (the for profit kind). Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication and the Humanities. I consult with an old student of mine who runs Ontend, a corporate training business. And right now I'm working with the Minnesota State Department of Education on the PBIS Program, an attempt to change how student behavior problems are handled K-12. Been teaching for 51 years now the last 30 in college and the last 20 as a corporate trainer.
By the way I haven't figured out how to get my photo turned around. The photo was too large and when the transfer was made it came up this way.
Came to Kauffman through Presentation Zen, one of my favorite sites. I'm reading At Home in the Universe at the moment.
